Salvage Diving - Deep, Dark and Dangerous...

Our attention was recently drawn to a new book on the work of that hardy breed - the salvage diver - in the challenging waters of the American North West. Although, 'Deep, Dark and Dangerous' doesn't discuss the Great Lakes, there's enough that seems to reflect our conditions to make this an interesting and worthwhile book for anyone who enjoys a good dive tale.

Hello,

I wanted to share my book, Deep Dark and Dangerous: On the Bottom with the Northwest Salvage Divers, with you. I focused on the early divers from Alaska, Washington and Oregon. I tell stories from the author Walt Morey's adventures diving in Alaska to Robert Sheats, from Seattle, who was captured during World War II and forced to dive at gunpoint in a Japanese prison in the Philippines.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Take care,
Rebecca Harrison
